Every quote from us names an Incoterm. It decides where the goods change hands, who pays freight, insurance, duties and VAT, and who carries the risk in between. Four terms cover almost all our orders.

01 · FOB Ningbo

We deliver the goods loaded on the vessel in Ningbo, export cleared. From there your forwarder takes over: sea or rail freight, insurance, EU import customs, duties, VAT, delivery. For buyers with their own forwarder and regular China volume who want to consolidate containers.

02 · CIF, EU port

We pay freight and insurance to the EU port you name (Hamburg, Rotterdam, Koper, Constanța, Varna and others). You arrange import customs, port handling and inland transport. For buyers consolidating several suppliers at one port.

03 · DAP, your address

We bring the goods to your address, export formalities done. You handle import customs and duties in your country. For companies with their own customs broker, and for destinations outside the EU customs union.

04 · DDP, your address

We arrange everything: freight, EU import customs, duties, delivery to your door. You unload. Because Vimex-M is an EU company, the goods are cleared into the EU by us in Bulgaria and you receive one EU invoice; between EU member states the B2B supply is invoiced under the intra-community rules with your VAT number. No customs work on your side. This is our recommendation for buyers in the EU.

05 · What the price includes

TermWe payYou pay
FOB NingboGoods, export clearance, loadingFreight, insurance, import customs, duties, VAT, delivery
CIF EU portAs FOB, plus sea freight and insuranceImport customs, duties, VAT, port handling, inland transport
DAPAs CIF, plus inland deliveryImport customs, duties, VAT
DDPAs DAP, plus import customs and dutiesUnloading only

06 · Timing and payment

The Incoterm does not change our payment terms: 30 % deposit with the order, 70 % when the goods are in Bulgaria. Under DDP the balance is paid before we clear customs and deliver. Lead time is 3 to 4 months by sea for all terms; rail to Central Europe can be faster on request.
